October is Cooperative Program Month

Since 1925, the Cooperative Program has provided the means
for the local church and all Southern Baptist to accomplish
more for Christ than they could ever do separately.
Through CP giving, the local church is supporitng:
International Missionaries, North American Missionaries,
& State Missionaries.  In addition, your CP giving also benefits your local association by providing a variety of helps, conferences, and other resources, which in turn benefits the local church.

The Cherokee Baptist Association
is no longer receiving used church literature.

For years, we worked with a local source and a church in Oxford to pass these materials on.  Recently, both sources have closed down this ministry leaving us with no workable options to continue this ministry.

Alabama Acts 1:8 Connections

Approximately 400 missionaries call
Alabama home.  We encourage each of our
churches to connect with one of these missionaries
and adopt them in a prayer partnership.  Contact
Scotty Goldman, State Board of Missions,
1-800-264-1225, ext. 387,
to begin the connection process.
