Assoc WMU Project
Collecting items for Extended Family for Kids.
This is a solution-based program for children with activities
& lessons designed to help children of the incarcerated get
through this time in their life successfully.

ITEMS NEEDED:  magic markers, construction paper, stickers, cardstock, copier paper, one gallon freezer zip-lock bags.
Bring items to the meeting.

Asking each church to bring a door prize
to be given at the meeting.

To help plan for the brunch, please register by Sept 4.

The Cherokee Baptist Association
is no longer receiving used church literature.

For years, we worked with a local source and a church in Oxford to pass these materials on.  Recently, both sources have closed down this ministry leaving us with no workable options to continue this ministry.

2,675 Shoeboxes collected in 2016!

Don't forget to order your shoeboxes from OCC --
now they also have plastic shoe boxes!
$22.00 for 100 of cardboard boxes
$18.00 for 12 of plastic shoeboxes
Or just use your own shoeboxes!

Also, the donation they ask for each box to help with shipping it
to the children is $9.00 this year.
Collection dates to bring shoeboxes to the CBA Office:

Nov 19   Sunday   1:00 - 3:00 PM
