Associational Missionary Position
   As you are aware, our Director of Missions for twenty-one years, Brother Wendell Dutton, announced his retirement on October 20, 2025, at our annual meeting. He has been a wonderful and godly leader, and his ministry will be greatly missed by all Cherokee Baptists. Along with our prayers, we wish him and his family the best.
   The Search Committee for the Cherokee Baptist Association is now accepting resumes for this position. Individuals must have a deep personal commitment to Christ, a sense of call to mission activity, ability to perform the duties the office requires, strong convictions concerning Baptist doctrine and polity, cooperative spirit with Alabama Baptist and Southern Baptist Conventions and Agencies, a good manager and administrator.

Ministry Assistant/Clerk/Treasurer Position
Mrs. Marcille Dutton has announced her retirement. Her ministry among Cherokee Baptist will certainly be missed, and our prayers and best wishes go with her.
Our CBA Personnel Committee is now accepting resumes for this position. Individuals who are interested must have a deep Christian commitment, an attitude for ministry, possess good people skills, be proficient in computer skills, and bookkeeping knowledge.

Pray for the kids and teens that will be receiving a backpack in Holly Springs, Mississippi, Dec 7.

Helping Hands Ministry
Thank you for promoting the Helping Hands Week of Prayer in your church.
The special offerings received for this ministry will go a long way in helping those in need.
Thanksgiving food items need to be in by Nov 10.

New office hours for Helping Hands: Mon, Tues, Thurs, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM.

Living Stone Fundraising
The Finn House has been a welcoming space for our community for 3 years. A new roof is needed to keep the children in care safe. The fundraising goal is $12,500 – already raised $4,000! Please consider donating and helping. Fundraiser runs until Dec 31. For more info, call 256-557-0923.

Week of Prayer for International Missions &
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
November 30 – December 7, 2025
Southern Baptists observe a Week of Prayer for International Missions each year before the annual Lottie Moon Offering emphasis. Will you join your heart with others to pray for missionaries around the world who are faithfully sharing the gospel.
